Dr.
David Luster
dluster@greenwaybc.org
David was born and raised in the
beautiful hills of East Tennessee. The
son of a Baptist Minister, he was taken
to church 9 months before he was born,
and therefore, has been in church ever
since. David was converted at a very
early age, and followed the Lord in
believer’s baptism, shortly thereafter.
David is
married to Brenda, and they have three
children, and five grandchildren.
David
answered the call into the ministry in
1970. He was subsequently ordained as a
minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
It was not until his later years in the
ministry that He was able to go back to
school and continue his education.
David has since received his Doctor of
Ministry in Christian Counseling from
Covington Theological Seminary in
Rossville, Georgia.
If you
were to ask David—“What is the essential
element in following Christ in
ministry?” his answer could be found in
Zechariah 4:6—“It is not by might,
not by power, but by the Spirit of the
Living God”, that anything
constructive is accomplished in our
lives. |
